Cat Breeds :)

 

Hi everyone!!!

My name is Kaelyn and I am friends with ajsnail.  I am here to write about cat breeds and will also be doing a couple of other posts on here.

 

Anyways, let’s get started on cat breeds.  There are so many different types of breeds so, it can be hard to find out where to start.   Above this is just a list of names of cats and a drawing of them. Today, we will look at a couple of this species and find some interesting facts about them.

 

Did you know that when female Siamese cats get in the sun they meow as loud as an opera singer?   Also, the Thai name of the Siamese cats means moon diamond.

Calico cats are also the state cat of Maryland.   Also, most calico cats are actually female.

In North America, Persian cats are one of the most popular  breeds.   Also Persian cats can live up to 15-20 years with good vet care and nutrition.
